Schnaithmann Maschinenbau GmbH, system supplier for automation technology, presents a new series of belt conveyors. The GF50 series belt conveyors feature a space-saving design and can also be easily integrated into existing conveyor and assembly systems. They transport workpieces with a total load of up to 100 kg, making them ideal for automation, material flow and handling tasks in automotive production, electronics manufacturing and the packaging, food and pharmaceutical industries.
The GF50 belt conveyors have an installation height of only 55 mm, and the width is only 10 mm wider than the belt design. With a total load of up to 100 kg, the belt can easily realize speeds of up to 64 m/min. The crowned drive and deflection rollers ensure that the belt runs smoothly even at high speeds. Belt lengths of up to 10,000 mm allow flexible use of the conveyors. Both rigid and adjustable side guides are provided in the modular system for the different areas of application, thus allowing the transport of different component sizes. Thanks to the deflections with knife edges of only 12 mm, even small parts can be conveyed. Different belt types, materials and colors are available depending on the requirements. The wide belt selection - cut-resistant, oil-resistant, ESD-compatible, FDA-compliant - enables use in a variety of industries.
To increase flexibility, different motor positions and drive variants such as direct or indirect drive are available. The speed is infinitely variable via the speed control frequency converter, with which even small control tasks can be easily implemented and which is optionally available as an accessory.
The various attachments from the Schnaithmann modular system allow quick assembly, adjustment and flexibility in different installation situations. The grooves of the basic aluminum body are continuous. The compact and adjustable belt supports can be integrated individually or joined together as frames. The belt supports have a quick-change aid that enables uncomplicated belt replacement or belt disassembly at a belt inclination of 0 to 15 degrees.
"The standardized series and the use of common parts ensure short and fast delivery times," says Andreas Köppler from Schnaithmann's Technical Sales Department. "The wide range of accessory options make the GF50 a real all-rounder for direct product transport in a wide variety of industries - fast, compact and reasonably priced in the usual Schnaithmann quality."
